Installation requirements for polycarbonate hollow sheet

(1) Sufficient space must be left in the connecting profile or in the inserting groove of the frame to allow the solar panel to be expanded and displaced under load. The linear thermal expansion coefficient of the hollow solar panel is 7×10m/mk, that is, for every 1℃ increase in temperature, the 1m×1m solar panel expands by 0.075mm in length . The user must calculate the installation gap data according to the temperature difference of the four seasons at the project location. For example, in the northern area, the highest temperature is 40℃, the lowest temperature is -30℃, and the reserved space for installation of 1m×1m plates is 0.07×70=4.9mm


(2) The clamped part of the polycarbonate roof sheets and solid polycarbonate sheet should contain at least one arrow rib, or the meshed part of the edge of the sunshine board should be at least 20mm.

Impact resistance

Light transmittanceThe light transmittance of the PC solar panel is 60-80%. At the same time, the light is distributed when passing through the FRP. The light is soft and does not form a light band, which makes the room brighter.

Color: transparent, lake blue, sky blue, light green, milky white;

Plate type: general plate type has more than 100 types such as 820-205, 840-210, 760-380, 950-237, 930-79, 812-203, 406-203, etc.


Impact resistance: As the product structure contains crisscrossed glass fiber reinforced materials, the PC solar panel greatly improves the impact resistance of the product, and it is not easy to break under the impact of gravel and hail.


Corrosion resistance: It can withstand various acids, alkalis and chemical substances, especially suitable for use in coastal and corrosive places.


Temperature resistance: corrugated polycarbonate is a thermosetting polymer material, and the temperature range is -40~120°C.


Thermal insulation: The thermal conductivity of PC solar panels is 0.18Kcat/mhr°C, which is only 1/4 of that of glass, so the thermal insulation performance of the polycarbonate panels is better.


Thermal stability: transparent polycarbonate sheet is a thermosetting glass fiber reinforced plastic, its thermal expansion coefficient is 2.2x10-mm/mm/°C, J is only twice that of metal materials, therefore, the relative displacement of the polycarbonate corrugated sheet and the metal color board is small, and water leakage is not easy to occur.
